Ground reinforcement work | SMD method that protects the environment without using blast furnace materials, steel pipes, and cement.

An environmentally friendly SMD method that achieves zero soil contamination and reduces leftover soil through the use of high-quality blast furnace steel pipes and cement-free rotary penetration technology.

In ground reinforcement work, not only enhancing the seismic resistance and bearing capacity of buildings but also reducing the burden on the surrounding environment and the Earth's environment is an important issue in modern architecture. The SMD pile method provided by Geotech Co., Ltd. is an environmentally friendly ground reinforcement method certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, using JIS standard steel pipes (STK400 and STK490) made from blast furnace materials. This method employs a completely dry construction process that does not use any cement solidification materials or chemicals, thereby physically eliminating the risk of soil contamination and groundwater pollution caused by the leaching of hexavalent chromium. Furthermore, the no-dirt-disposal technology during rotary insertion ensures that no construction-generated soil, which would become industrial waste, is produced, significantly reducing the costs of soil disposal and CO2 emissions during transportation. We offer a variety of shaft diameters ranging from φ89.1 mm to φ267.4 mm, and we implement safe and clean construction under real-time monitoring by construction management devices and strict quality control. We balance environmental protection with high advanced support performance, continuously safeguarding the land asset value of our clients.
